The 200-acre park is bustling with animals and has short hiking paths and a 2.8-mile off-road cycling trail. Pavilions are available for reservation if you’re looking to host a small gathering or event. Stop by the observation tower for a spectacular view of the city.

A 4-6-acre dog park has small and large dog areas with concrete pathways and shaded areas as well as seating areas and drinking stations. Go for a walk, jog or bike trip on 1.9 miles of wide concrete paths that connect to Legacy and Bluebonnet trails.

Russell Creek Park is one of the most popular Plano parks for sports enthusiasts. The large area of grass is perfect for playing soccer, tag football, and a variety of other games while the volleyball and basketball courts are open for you to challenge your friends and family members to a match.
